ANNUAL APPEAL
In an effort to keep tuition
affordable, the school subsidizes a portion of the true cost
of educating its students. Additionally, approximately 23% of
St. Joseph School students receive additional financial
assistance. This year alone, over $800,000 in financial aid
assistance has been made available to these students.
Currently there is a “gap” of about $2500 between tuition and
the true cost per student. Your generous support of the
annual St. Joseph School Pledge Drive helps make it possible
for the school to provide a high-quality Catholic education
to students regardless of their social, economic, or
religious background.
The proceeds from the annual appeal not only help cover the
cost of financial aid, but also help fund improved
curriculum, staff training, building upgrades, and many other

will be funded by this year’s appeal. Each year we set a
goal of 100% participation by school families. This year
we hope to raise $500,000. Soon you will be able to make
your pledge using an online pledge form. Till then, you
may use the following link to the pledge card and print
your own form to mail/turn in to the school
(2009-2010 Pledge
Card).
Many employers offer matching gifts programs. Matching gifts
are reflected in your total giving to St. Joseph School. To

If your company’s
name is not listed here, please ask your company’s human
resources department if they match educational gifts.
At the end of September, to mark the start of the St. Joseph
School Pledge Drive and to recognize donors at the Founders
level and above (Giving Levels)
as well as parents
with the highest number of volunteer hours, a “Celebration
Dinner” is held. The parent Co-Chairs of the annual appeal
address the guests and awards are presented to an
outstanding alumnus and staff member.
