As a student at Our Lady of the Lake, Bishop Blanchet and Gonzaga University, I was nurtured in my faith and taught the value of a life lived in service to others. As an athlete I was allowed the chance to explore my gifts and challenge myself daily in the pursuit of excellence. While coaching I have been able to provide the framework for the next generation to do the same. Greatest of all these gifts was the opportunity to teach with a young woman who later became my wife.
I am truly humbled by all Catholic education has given me and I continue to be blessed every day at St. Joseph School. The students are full of warmth and good nature and are a daily reminder that our future is bright. Our teachers, staff and administration work tirelessly to support one another and those in our care. A thriving and vibrant community make greater by our passionate and generous parent community.
This Catholic schools week has been another wonderful demonstration of all that we have to be thankful for. Thanks be to God!
