Dear Parents,
Join us in supporting our 600 students strong, ready, and willing to run in the annual JOGATHON on September 16th, our first fundraiser of the school year.
Help your children to obtain sponsors who may pledge by the lap or a set amount. Prizes awarded to individuals and classes according to the money raised.
There are two ways to obtain sponsors.
LOCAL SPONSORS
Contact local friends and neighbors and record the sponsors’ names, addresses and pledge amounts on the large envelope provided. Collect the pledges after the JOGATHON. (Local sponsors may choose to donate a set amount prior to the run itself.)
MAIL SPONSORS
On September 10, students in grades 5-8 will send letters to out-of-town friends. All students need a list of sponsors’ names, addresses and ZIP codes. These letters explaining our JOGATHON will be mailed from school. PLEASE TAKE TIME THIS EVENING TO HELP YOUR CHILD COMPILE A LIST OF NAMES AND ADDRESSES.
ALL MONEY SHOULD BE TURNED INTO THE DEVELOPMENT OFFICE IN A CLEARLY MARKED ENVELOPE WITH STUDENT NAME AND CLASSROOM BY FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17.
