Endowment for St. Joseph School

Generations of children have benefited from the gift of Catholic education from St. Joseph School. That
gift has come from many sources: tuition paid by committed parents; significant annual contributions
from St. Joseph Parish; vigorous annual fundraising; the dedicated efforts of the school's volunteers, staff
and teachers; and support from alumni.
Yet, the increasing cost of education makes an adequate source of Student Financial Aid a critical
component of the St. Joseph School budget. Thanks to a group of visionary – and very generous – parents
and friends of St. Joseph School, our school is fortunate to have a substantial and growing endowment.
The Endowment for St. Joseph School was incorporated in 1979 to provide funding to the school in three
important areas: Financial Aid, Staff Enrichment, and
Donor-Inspired Special Programs. The Endowment for St. Joseph
School is comprised of 23 individual funds, each with
an established objective:

well as a number of other benefactors and friends of St. Joseph School.
As of June 30, 2011, the total value of the endowment was over $5.8 million. The combined grant to the
school in 2010-2011 from all the funds was $225, 520, allocated as shown.
