CYO Fall Soccer
(1st-8th grade) and Cross-Country (K-8th grade) is now open
until June 6, 2008. The fee for soccer is $45.00 and the
fee for cross-country is $15.00. If you sign up for both
sports you pay only for soccer. Please sign up for
cross-country ONLY if your child is participating in the
meets. CYO bills St. Joseph for each individual that signs
up, unlike other sports where we are billed per team.
The deadline for returning students to register is June 6,
2008. You will not be able to register in the fall.
Limits on team size will be strictly followed.
Consent forms have been handed out to students by their
teachers. You can download a sign up form at the CYO section
of the St. Joseph School website (www.stjosephsea.org). You
can also access general information there regarding soccer
and cross-country. If you have questions, the names and
contact information for the coordinators of both sports is
listed.
New
Families
The registration deadline for
new families is June 30, 2008. All the necessary forms will
be mailed to new familes around the week of May 19. Please do
not register early because there will be other documents you
will need to sign in order for your child to participate in
sports at St. Joseph.
Important Note
About Uniforms:
In an effort to reduce costs,
upkeep and processing time, St. Joe's will provide uniforms
only to 6th, 7th and 8th grade soccer teams this fall. Teams
in all other grades will wear the royal blue Jaguar spirit
T-shirts we introduced last fall. If your 1st-through-5th
grade child doesn't have one (or one that will fit this
fall), you will have the opportunity on the
soccer/cross-country consent form to purchase the tee shirt
for $10. These shirts also will be worn by all students (K
through 8th) who are participating in cross country. Do NOT
purchase a spirit tee if you have a 6th-8th grader this fall
who is participating only in soccer as St. Joe's will still
provide full uniforms for these grades.![]()
