Technology
Technology at St. Joseph

Technology now occupies nearly every corner of our students' lives. To that end, the administration and staff of St. Joseph School have made a concerted effort to incorporate technology into the curriculum.
All students at St. Joseph have dedicated time in the day during which they use computers. Each teacher makes use of an interactive whiteboard as an integral part of her/his instruction.
In grades 4 and 5, each student has access to an iPad. This exciting new technology is used to draft and edit writing, practice math facts, access online educational programs, and create student projects.

Students in grade 6 have access to a mini lab and use computers for research, word processing and presentations.
In the middle school (grades 7 and 8) classrooms are equipped with laptop carts. Students use the laptops for studying world language via the Rosetta Stone program, writing papers, researching, and creating presentations.
