The tuition for the 2019-2020 school year is $14,270.
St. Joseph is committed to providing access to students from all socio-economic backgrounds.If tuition assistance is needed, St. Joseph School has an extensive need-based financial-aid program.We utilize FACTS Management System for enrollment and tuition management. Both single pay or monthly tuition installment plans are available over 10 months, April though January.
Tuition includes testing and books. Parents provide school supplies. Additional school fees are listed here. Financial assistance for recipients of need-based awards is also available for school fees including, but not limited to, the school lunch program, CYO Athletics, uniforms, supplies, and field trips.

St. Joseph School uses School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS), a service of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), to provide an objective, consistent methodology for calculating a family’s ability to contribute to tuition. The school makes the final decision on each student’s financial aid.

Note: only one (1) application is required for each family, (unless the family maintains more than one (1) household). Divorced or separated parents must each complete an SSS application and submit the supporting documentation before the student can be considered for financial aid.
- The St. Joseph school code is 4137. The fee is $51 for the online application, unless a fee waiver is granted by SSS, payable by credit, debit card PayPal or eCheck.
- Create a user name and password which allows you to save without submitting a completed application so that you can go back to it later.
- Follow the "Complete your Parents' Financial Statement (PFS)" link and begin your application.
- Upload copies of the required documents (listed below) to your SSS account.
SSS Customer Service is available to answer your questions at 1-800-344-8328, Monday through Friday 6:00 am - 8:00 pm and Saturday from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm PST.
Required documents to complete the PFS:
- 2017 Federal Income Return (Form 1040), including all schedules
- 2017 Schedule K-1 (Form 1065) and/or 2017 Schedule K-1 (Form 1120S) for families deriving business income
- 2018 Federal Income Tax Return must be uploaded by April 15, 2019
- 2018 W-2s and 1099s
If you already uploaded the 2017 tax returns and Schedule K-1 in your prior year’s application, you do not need to upload them again. If you filed an amended tax return, please ensure that you upload the amended tax return. Based on the school’s evaluation of your financial aid application, the school may ask you to provide additional documentations. It is the family’s responsibility to ensure that their financial aid application is complete and accurate. The school cannot evaluate a family’s financial aid need based on an incomplete application.
A family applying for financial aid is notified of their financial aid award during the 2019-2020 enrollment process. The school reserves the right to adjust the financial aid award initially granted based on additional information from the 2018 tax return. St. Joseph School reviews financial aid needs on a yearly basis to take into consideration changes in a family’s financial circumstances. A family’s financial aid award in one year does not guarantee support for the following year.
For re-enrolling students, the deadline for completing the financial aid application for school year 2019-2020 is Friday, February 22, 2019. For newly admitted students, the financial aid applications are due Friday, March 8, 2019.
