A NOTE FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL

John Hickey

Given my communication yesterday, I don't have much else to say for this week's FLASH.

That said…I told you I was going to ask you to tap into your networks to help us find our next batch of incredible teachers. We have current openings posted here, so please spread the word.

We are seriously considering offering a morning bus service. If you're interested in learning more about that, please start by responding to this brief survey. It will really help us determine if this is a viable plan.

Finally, it was great to see many of you at last night's screening of "Angst." I'm glad that we are able to put on events like this and I hope you find them helpful. If you have ideas about programming we can offer for parents, please contact the PAB.

Have a great weekend.

Patrick

Children who have not yet been baptized by the age of seven years old receive full initiation (baptism, First Eucharist and Confirmation) into the church during the Easter season. Water Project in our Sister Parish of San Bartolome in Arcatao, El Salvador.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we reached our fundraising goal and as we speak, a delegation from St. Joseph's is visiting our Sister Parish to finalize plans for moving forward. I wanted to invite you to a meeting on Tuesday February 6th 7-8:30pm in the Parish Center to get an update on the water project and information on our upcoming Sister Parish Delegation. Padre Miguel has invited us to come down and celebrate Easter with their community. The dates are leaving Wednesday evening March 28th and returning Wednesday April 4th. There may be a possibility we can work with them on the water project. If you are interested in going, please contact Deacon Steve for further details.
